เทคโนโลยีในอนาคต จะเป็น อย่างไร

1. ปัญญาประดิษฐ์และระบบอัตโนมัติ เทคโนโลยีแห่งอนาคตที่จะพัฒนาทุกสิ่งให้ล้ำสมัย

มนุษย์เราอาจรู้จัก Artificial Intelligence (AI) หรือเทคโนโลยีปัญญาประดิษฐ์ และ เทคโนโลยี Automation หรือระบบอัตโนมัติกันมาเป็นเวลานาน แต่ในช่วงไม่กี่ปีมานี้เองที่เทคโนโลยีปัญญาประดิษฐ์มีการพัฒนาไปอย่างรวดเร็ว

AI พัฒนาไวจนน่าจับตามอง

ในช่วงปี 2021 เทคโนโลยี AI ได้ถูกนำมาใช้ในชีวิตประจำวันมากยิ่งขึ้น นอกจากด้านของอุปกรณ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ สื่อสังคมออนไลน์ และด้านการแพทย์แล้ว AI ยังได้เข้ามามีบทบาทในธุรกิจมากยิ่งขึ้น มีการใช้ระบบ AI ในธุรกิจเพิ่มขึ้นถึง 25% ต่อปี ไม่ว่าจะเป็นด้านการบริการลูกค้า การขนส่ง การตลาดแบบ Personalized Marketing และการลงทุน เป็นต้น

เดิมทีเรามักจะคาดการณ์ว่ายังคงมีงานหลายส่วนที่ AI ไม่สามารถทำได้ดีเท่ากับคน เพราะเป็นงานที่ต้องใช้ความเป็นมนุษย์สูง เช่น งานที่ต้องใช้ความคิดสร้างสรรค์และงานที่ต้องใช้ความเข้าใจด้านอารมณ์ แต่ความเชื่อนี้จะค่อยๆ ถูกเปลี่ยนเมื่อมี AI ที่สามารถทำสิ่งเหล่านี้ได้

เทคโนโลยี AI ได้พัฒนาระบบ Multi Skill และ Deep Learning ซึ่งทำให้ปัญญาประดิษฐ์มีความสามารถที่จะเรียนรู้เชิงลึกและเรียนรู้หลายสิ่งจนเชี่ยวชาญได้พร้อมๆ กัน AI จึงมีความรู้มากกว่าและยังมีความสามารถเทียบเคียงมนุษย์ ทำให้ AI คิดและทำงานสร้างสรรค์รวมถึงงานที่ใช้ทักษะด้านอารมณ์เองได้

ตัวอย่างที่น่าสนใจคือ เทคโนโลยี GPT-3 ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ที่สามารถเขียนหนังสือได้ไม่แพ้มนุษย์ โดยที่ AI สามารถทำงานศิลปะ ด้านดนตรี และการวาดภาพก็สามารถทำได้เช่นกัน รวมทั้งในปัจจุบันคนเริ่มยอมรับให้ AI เป็นเพื่อนกับมนุษย์ได้อีกด้วย

Automation จะยกระดับและนำมาใช้อย่างจริงจังมากยิ่งขึ้น

เทคโนโลยี Automation หรือระบบอัตโนมัติได้ถูกนำมาใช้ในภาคอุตสาหกรรมมาเป็นเวลานานในรูปแบบเครื่องจักรที่ช่วยลดงานให้มนุษย์และมีการพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่องจนกลายเป็นหุ่นยนต์ ปัจจัยเร่งที่สำคัญในปี 2020 คือสถานการณ์โควิด-19 ซึ่งสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงขีดจำกัดของมนุษย์ที่ชัดเจนมากขึ้น

เมื่อเกิดโรคระบาดทำให้ภาคการผลิตที่ใช้แรงงานคนหยุดชะงัก วิกฤติครั้งนี้กระตุ้นให้การใช้ระบบ Automation เป็นที่ต้องการมากขึ้น คนสามารถป่วยได้ แต่จักรกลเองไม่มีวันป่วยและยังทำงานได้มีประสิทธิภาพมากกว่า

สิ่งที่น่าจับตามองเป็นอย่างมากก็คือเทคโนโลยี AI ที่พัฒนาอย่างรวดเร็วนี้จะเข้ามาผสานรวมกับเทคโนโลยี Automation มากขึ้น ผลลัพธ์ที่ได้ก็คือระบบ Automation ที่ทำงานได้อย่างชาญฉลาดมากขึ้นกว่าเดิมและสามารถทำงานแทนมนุษย์ได้เกือบทุกอย่าง แน่นอนว่าจะเป็น เทคโนโลยีในอนาคต 10 ปี ข้างหน้าที่เปลี่ยนชีวิตเราไปโดยสิ้นเชิง

2. เทคโนโลยี R ที่ผสานโลกเสมือนกับความเป็นจริงอย่างสมบูรณ์
เทคโนโลยี ในอนาคต 10 ปีข้างหน้าที่จะเปลี่ยนอนาคตของมนุษย์อีกประเด็นที่น่าสนใจก็คือ “เทคโนโลยีโลกเสมือน” ซึ่งในปัจจุบันมีการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยี R (Reality Technology) เหล่านี้ขึ้นมาใช้งานมากมาย

VR (Virtual Reality) เทคโนโลยีจำลองความเป็นจริงเสมือน สร้างโลกเสมือนจริงให้เราเข้าไปสัมผัสประสบการณ์ในโลกจำลองผ่านอุปกรณ์ต่างๆ เช่น หน้าจอ หรือแว่น VR โดยบริษัทใหญ่อย่าง Google นำเทคโนโลยีนี้มาให้ทุกคนได้สัมผัสได้เช่น Virtual Tour ผ่าน Google Earth หรือ Virtual Tour นิทรรศการและสถานที่สำคัญต่างๆ นอกจากนี้ ยังมีบริษัทเกมอีกเป็นจำนวนมากที่ผลิตเกม VR ขึ้นมา

ก้าวที่สำคัญของเทคโนโลยี VR คือบริษัท Facebook ที่กำลังพัฒนา Facebook Horizon สังคมออนไลน์ในโลกเสมือนที่ทุกคนสามารถเข้าไปใช้งานและเชื่อมต่อกันได้ทั่วโลกผ่านเทคโนโลยีนี้ ซึ่งจะทำให้ผู้ใช้งานสามารถใช้ชีวิตในเกมและมีปฏิสัมพันธ์กันได้ทั่วโลกซึ่งจะส่งผลกับวิถีชีวิตของมนุษย์ด้านสังคมอย่างมาก

AR (Augmented Reality) เทคโนโลยีที่ผสานเอาโลกแห่งความเป็นจริงเข้ากับโลกเสมือน เทคโนโลยีนี้จะสามารถจำลองภาพ 3 มิติแสดงผลบนพื้นที่จริงให้เราเห็นโดยต้องมีอุปกรณ์ตัวกลางคือ ซอฟต์แวร์ แอปพลิเคชัน และฮาร์ดแวร์อย่างกล้องโทรศัพท์มือถือหรือแว่น VR เป็นต้น

เทคโนโลยีนี้มีการนำมาใช้อย่างแพร่หลายในปัจจุบันอย่างเช่นในเกม Pokemon Go ก็ใช้เทคโนโลยีนี้ และฟิลเตอร์จากแอปพลิเคชันโซเชียลมีเดียที่ใช้กันเป็นประจำ นอกจากนี้ ในวงการธุรกิจเองก็มีการนำมาใช้ประโยชน์อย่าง IKEA บริษัทยักษ์ใหญ่แห่งวงการเฟอร์นิเจอร์ก็มีการใช้เทคโนโลยี AR จำลองภาพสินค้าในสถานที่จริงเพื่อให้คนเห็นภาพสินค้าจริงมากขึ้น เทคโนโลยี AR จึงอาจสร้างความเปลี่ยนแปลงให้หลายธุรกิจและวิถีชีวิตมนุษย์ ในอนาคตเราอาจไม่จำเป็นต้องออกไปซื้อของอีกต่อไป

MR (Mixed Reality) เทคโนโลยีที่ผสานจุดเด่นของ VR และ AR เข้าด้วยกัน เทคโนโลยีต่อยอดสร้างภาพจำลองในโลกจริงและยังสามารถมีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับโลกเสมือนได้ โดยใช้เทคโนโลยี Hologram เข้ามาช่วยให้เรามองเห็น สัมผัส และมีปฏิสัมพันธ์ได้ ลองจินตนาการถึงภาพยนตร์ฟอร์มยักษ์อย่าง Ironman ที่ตัวเอกสามารถพูดคุยกับจาวิสได้ มองเห็นภาพจำลองของสิ่งต่างๆ ที่คอมพิวเตอร์แสดงผลด้วยโฮโลแกรม พร้อมกับสั่งการด้วยเสียงและการใช้มือเปล่าสัมผัสปุ่มต่างๆ กลางอากาศนั่นเอง

XR (Extended Reality) ขั้นกว่าของโลกเสมือน การพัฒนาผสานรวมเทคโนโลยี AR + VR + MR เข้าด้วยกัน นอกจากจะสั่งการบนโลกเสมือนได้ก็ยังสามารถเชื่อมต่อให้เกิดการสั่งการและปฏิสัมพันธ์ได้ทั้งในโลกจริงและในโลกเสมือนด้วย ในอนาคตจะมีการนำมาใช้กับทุกวงการไม่ว่าจะเป็นด้านอุตสาหกรรม การศึกษา การทหาร สุขภาพ ท่องเที่ยว และความบันเทิง

3. เทคโนโลยี Blockchain เปลี่ยนแปลงโลก

เทคโนโลยีบล็อกเชน (Blockchain) แห่งยุคดิจิทัล มีความสามารถในการเก็บข้อมูลโครงข่ายที่ทุกเข้าถึงได้ ไม่ต้องผ่านคนกลางโดยมีการเข้ารหัสทางคอมพิวเตอร์เพื่อความปลอดภัย ทำให้ได้รับข้อมูลชุดเดียวกันในเวลาเดียวกันได้ทั่วโลก

ประโยชน์ของเทคโนโลยีบล็อกเชนคือ มีความโปร่งใสเพราะทุกคนสามารถเข้าถึงข้อมูลได้ ถูกแทรกแซงและทำลายได้ยาก และลดคนกลางในระบบลงได้ เทคโนโลยีนี้เหมาะที่จะนำมาใช้กับการทำธุรกรรมการเงินเป็นส่วนใหญ่ทั้งในธนาคารและใน Bitcoin ที่เรารู้จักกันนั่นเอง

ที่ผ่านมาวงการสกุลเงินดิจิทัล Cryptocurrency ที่ได้รับความนิยมสูงก็ใช้ระบบ Blockchain ในการจัดเก็บข้อมูลการทำธุรกรรมและกำไรของตลาดเช่นกัน รวมถึงบริษัทใหญ่ด้านเทคโนโลยีต่างก็ให้ความสนใจในตัวบล็อกเชน และนำมาใช้กับบริการของตัวเอง เช่น Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, IBM Blockchain Platform และ Alibaba Cloud เป็นต้น

เทคโนโลยีการจัดเก็บข้อมูลนี้สามารถนำมาใช้ได้กับหลายๆ วงการด้วยกันไม่ว่าจะเป็น

• การนำมาใช้ในด้านบริการออนไลน์ Blockchain as a Service (Baas) 

• การนำมาใช้งานในด้านธุรกรรมต่างๆ เช่น ธุรกรรมการเงิน ธุรกรรมอสังหาริมทรัพย์ ธุรกรรมทั่วไป การบริจาคเพื่อการกุศล และธุรกรรมการซื้อขาย-ประมูลงานศิลปะ (NFT Art)
• การนำมาใช้งานในการติดตามกระบวนการโลจิสติกส์
• การนำมาใช้งานในการ Backup ข้อมูล

การเข้าถึงข้อมูลจะเป็นเรื่องง่ายสำหรับทุกคน ช่วยลดขั้นตอนลดค่าใช้จ่ายที่ไม่จำเป็นด้านเอกสารและค่าธรรมเนียม ลดการคอร์รัปชันในการทำธุรกิจลงได้ เทคโนโลยีในอนาคต 10 ปีข้างหน้า มีความเป็นไปได้สูงที่มนุษย์เราอาจนำบล็อกเชนมาใช้ประโยชน์อื่นๆ เพิ่มเติมในวงกว้างขึ้นในระดับที่ใหญ่ขึ้นไม่ว่าจะเป็นเมือง รัฐ ประเทศ และโลก ไม่แน่ว่าชุดข้อมูลการเลือกตั้งอาจปรากฏบนบล็อกเชนเพื่อสร้างความโปร่งใสก็เป็นได้

4. Brain-machine เทคโนโลยีเชื่อมโยงสมองมนุษย์เข้า AI

เทคโนโลยีในอนาคต 10 ปีข้างหน้าที่น่าตื่นเต้นกำลังจะเกิดขึ้นจริงแล้ว Brain-machine คือเทคโนโลยีใหม่ที่จะเชื่อมมนุษย์กับ AI เข้าด้วยกันแบบที่เราเคยเห็นกันในภาพยนตร์ Sci-Fi สุดล้ำ หากนึกภาพไม่ออกว่า Brain-machine นี้เป็นอย่างไร ให้นึกถึงตัวละครที่สวมหมวกใยประสาทสั่งการเครื่องจักรหรือหุ่นยนต์ได้ ตัวละครที่มีการฝังชิปลงในสมองเพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนและเก็บข้อมูล รวมถึงตัวละครที่มีบางส่วนของร่างกายเป็นหุ่นยนต์

กรณีศึกษาที่น่าสนใจคือบริษัท Neuralink ของ Elon Musk ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทที่ตั้งขึ้นเพื่อพัฒนาเทคโนโลยี Brain-machine โดยเฉพาะ มีความตั้งใจที่จะสร้างเทคโนโลยีเชื่อมโยงสมองของมนุษย์เข้ากับเทคโนโลยีต่างๆ

โครงการแรก Neuralink ตั้งใจที่จะฝังชิปที่มีสายสื่อประสาทลงไปในสมองของมนุษย์และแปรสัญญาณให้สามารถสั่งการคอมพิวเตอร์หรือเครื่องจักรได้จริง นอกจากนี้ ยังตั้งใจให้สามารถ Upload ข้อมูลจากสมองเก็บเอาไว้ในชิปรวมถึงดาวน์โหลดชุดข้อมูลเข้าสู่สมองได้อีกด้วย และสิ่งสำคัญที่สุดคือการนำไปใช้รักษาผู้ป่วยที่มีปัญหาด้านการเคลื่อนไหวหรือผู้ที่พิการทางอวัยวะต่างๆ ของร่างกาย โครงการนี้มีความคืบหน้าไปไกลโดย

• สามารถสร้างสายสื่อประสาท (Threads) ได้สำเร็จและใช้งานได้จริง
• สามารถสร้างชิปสำหรับอ่านข้อมูลในสมองได้สำเร็จ 
• สร้างหุ่นยนต์ผ่าตัดฝังชิปลงในสมองที่มีความแม่นยำสูงได้สำเร็จ

เทคโนโลยีของ Neuralink ได้มีการทดลองฝังชิปลงสมองของสัตว์อย่างหนูทดลองและหมูทดลองสำเร็จ รวมทั้งยังอยู่ในขั้นของการพัฒนาต่อก่อนเริ่มทดลองใช้กับมนุษย์ ภายในระยะเวลาเพียง 6 ปีถือว่า Neuralink สามารถพัฒนาเทคโนโลยี Brain-machine ได้อย่างรวดเร็วและยังมีบริษัทอื่นๆ อีกมากมายที่กำลังพัฒนาเช่นกัน จึงคาดว่าในอีก 10 ปีข้างหน้าเทคโนโลยีนี้จะเสร็จสมบูรณ์และพร้อมที่จะเปลี่ยนโลก

Brain-Machine สามารถนำไปใช้ได้หลากหลาย ความก้าวหน้าของเทคโนโลยีจะเข้ามาเปลี่ยนแปลงชีวิตของมนุษย์อย่างมากและสามารถสร้างอนาคตที่ดีขึ้นได้ โดยเฉพาะในวงการแพทย์ที่จะช่วยรักษาโรคทางสมองและระบบประสาทได้ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นอาการความจำเสื่อม โรคซึมเศร้า โรคตาบอดหูหนวกที่เกิดจากอาการทางสมอง เป็นต้น นอกจากนี้ ยังสามารถเติมเต็มอวัยวะให้แก่ผู้ป่วยที่พิการหรือผู้ที่สูญเสียอวัยวะจากอุบัติเหตุได้โดยการเชื่อมโยงระบบประสาทกับอวัยวะเทียมและสั่งการส่วนที่เป็นหุ่นยนต์ราวกับอวัยวะปกติ

นอกเหนือไปจากด้านการแพทย์แล้ว เทคโนโลยีนี้ยังสามารถนำมาใช้กับชีวิตประจำวันได้เช่นกัน โดยมนุษย์จะสามารถเชื่อมโยงกับสิ่งของเครื่องจักรต่างๆ ได้ และเทคโนโลยีนี้ยังสามารถช่วยฟื้นฟูด้านจิตใจได้ด้วยการอัปโหลดข้อมูลของผู้คนเก็บเอาไว้และสร้างตัวตนเสมือนจริงจากข้อมูลความทรงจำของคนได้อีกด้วย

5. โครงข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ตดาวเทียมและอินเทอร์เน็ต 6G ความเร็วสูง

เทคโนโลยีอินเทอร์เน็ตคือเทคโนโลยีแห่งอนาคตที่แท้จริง โดยเป็นสื่อกลางที่ช่วยให้การเข้าถึงข้อมูลและการสื่อสารกลายเป็นเรื่องง่ายเพียงปลายนิ้ว สองเทคโนโลยีอินเทอร์เน็ตที่กำลังจะมาเปลี่ยนอนาคตภายใน 10 ปีข้างหน้าที่น่าจับตามองก็คือ

Satellite Internet โครงการอินเทอร์เน็ตดาวเทียม

นี่คือเทคโนโลยีที่ทำให้คนใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตผ่านดาวเทียมนอกโลกได้โดยไม่ต้องพึ่งเสาสัญญาณอินเทอร์เน็ตบริเวณใกล้เคียงพร้อมกับความเร็วที่มากขึ้น สิ่งนี้จะเข้ามาเปลี่ยนชีวิตของมนุษย์โดย 

• ทุกคนทั่วโลกจะสามารถเข้าถึงอินเทอร์เน็ตได้จริงแม้ในบริเวณที่ไม่มีเสาสัญญาณ 
• ผู้ใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตจ่ายค่าบริการอินเทอร์เน็ตในราคาที่ถูกลงหรืออาจจะไม่ต้องจ่ายเลย 
• การสื่อสารทั่วทุกมุมโลกเป็นไปได้จริง
• ผู้ขาดโอกาสและประเทศด้อยพัฒนาสามารถเข้าถึงข้อมูล ความรู้ และการศึกษาได้
• ช่วยลดงบประมาณค่าใช้จ่ายเรื่องโทรศัพท์และอินเทอร์เน็ตเมื่อเดินทางไปต่างประเทศ (ไม่จำเป็นต้องซื้อซิมโทรศัพท์สำหรับสื่อสารในต่างประเทศอีกต่อไป)

อินเทอร์เน็ตดาวเทียมเป็นโครงการที่สองมหาเศรษฐีอันดับต้นของโลกอย่าง Elon Musk และ Jeff Bezos กำลังแข่งขันกันพัฒนาโครงการนี้ให้เป็นจริง โดย Elon Musk ได้ก่อตั้ง Starlink โดยดำเนินการปล่อยดาวเทียมสู่อวกาศไปแล้วกว่า 1,500 ดวงทั่วโลก และเปิดให้คนที่สนใจจองบริการนี้แล้วในราคา 99 ดอลลาร์สหรัฐต่อเดือน

กระแสตอบรับของอินเทอร์เน็ตดาวเทียมเป็นไปในทางที่ดีมาก แม้ในช่วงเริ่มต้นบริการอินเทอร์เน็ตดาวเทียมอาจยังต้องใช้งบประมาณในการเข้าถึง แต่ในอนาคตจะต้องมีการพัฒนาไปในทางที่ดีขึ้นอย่างแน่นอน

6G Internet อินเทอร์เน็ตความเร็วสูง

อีกหนึ่งเทคโนโลยีอินเทอร์เน็ตที่จะพัฒนาควบคู่กับอินเทอร์เน็ตดาวเทียมคือ เทคโนโลยีอินเทอร์เน็ตความเร็วสูง 6G  ที่มีความเร็วกว่า 5G ถึง 100 เท่า (ดาวน์โหลดข้อมูล 1 Terabit/วินาที) ซึ่งอินเทอร์เน็ตความเร็วสูงจะเข้ามาแก้ปัญหาของมนุษย์ในหลายด้านและช่วยพัฒนาให้เทคโนโลยีอื่นๆ ลื่นไหลมากยิ่งขึ้น

• แก้ปัญหาเรื่องความเร็วของอินเทอร์เน็ต – ทำให้การสื่อสารเป็นไปอย่างลื่นไหลและรวดเร็วขึ้น รวมทั้งยังช่วยให้การทำงานทางไกลและการประชุมทางไกลสามารถทำได้อย่างสะดวกมากขึ้นด้วย อินเทอร์เน็ตที่เร็วขึ้นจะสามารถรองรับเทคโนโลยีโฮโลแกรมฉายภาพสามมิติในการประชุมได้
• ส่งเสริมเทคโนโลยีทางการแพทย์ – ทำให้การผ่าตัดทางไกล (Telemedicine) มีความแม่นยำมากขึ้น
• เทคโนโลยีที่ใช้ข้อมูลอินเทอร์เน็ตในการดำเนินระบบอย่างปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) และเทคโนโลยี อินเทอร์เน็ตของสรรพสิ่ง (IoT) จะสามารถใช้ได้รวดเร็วยิ่งขึ้น

ถึงแม้ว่าอินเทอร์เน็ตจะเป็นสิ่งที่คนรู้จักกันมานานแล้วและเปลี่ยนแปลงชีวิตมนุษย์เราอย่างมากในช่วง 50 ปีนี้ แต่ก็ยังมีคนจำนวนมากที่ไม่สามารถเข้าถึงอินเทอร์เน็ตได้เนื่องจากโครงสร้างพื้นฐานยังเข้าไม่ถึง และกลุ่มคนจำนวนมากที่ยังมีปัญหาเรื่องความเร็วอินเทอร์เน็ตที่ไม่เพียงพอจากข้อจำกัดของค่าใช้จ่าย

ลองจินตนาการดูว่าจะสะดวกขนาดไหนหากทุกคนบนโลกสามารถเข้าถึงอินเทอร์เน็ตได้ในทุกพื้นที่ แม้ในพื้นที่ทุรกันดารที่ไม่สามารถติดตั้งเสาสัญญาณหรือสายอินเทอร์เน็ตได้ ด้วยต้นทุนราคาที่ถูกลง จะเป็นอย่างไรหากเราสามารถดาวน์โหลดข้อมูลจำนวนมหาศาลได้ใน 1 นาที

6. IoT สรรพสิ่งมีชีวิตโดยอินเทอร์เน็ตเป็นตัวเชื่อมโยง

Internet of Things คือ เทคโนโลยีที่ทำให้อุปกรณ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ต่างๆ “ฉลาดขึ้น” โดยสามารถเชื่อมโยงข้อมูลและสื่อสารกันได้ผ่านเครือข่ายออนไลน์ Internet Wi-Fi และ Bluetooth กลายเป็น Smart Device ต่างๆ ที่เรารู้จักกัน

เทคโนโลยีเหล่านี้เริ่มเข้ามามีบทบาทในชีวิตเราบ้างแล้วโดยที่เราอาจจะยังไม่รู้ตัว เช่น

• อุปกรณ์อัจฉริยะที่สวมใส่ได้ Smart Wearable อย่าง Smart Watch
• โทรศัพท์มือถือ Smartphone
• บ้านอัจฉริยะ Smart Home
• เมืองอัจฉริยะ Smart City
• รถยนต์อัจฉริยะ Smart Car
• ระบบโครงข่ายสำหรับส่งไฟฟ้าอัจฉริยะแบบครบวงจร Smart Grid

7. Edge Computing และ ​Cloud ประมวลผลข้อมูลไร้ฮาร์ดแวร์
