Aisin Thai Automotive Casting (Aisin Group) and Shizen Energy / Constant Energy completed a first solar rooftop with a Corporate PPA as Shizen Energy’s first solar rooftop project under a PPA scheme in Thailand

Shizen Energy Inc. (“Shizen Energy”) and Constant Energy completed the power grid connections and commenced operation on April 2021 for the 1MW rooftop solar power plant under a corporate PPA with Aisin Thai Automotive Casting Co., Ltd, a joint venture between Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd.(Japan) and Toyota Tsusho (Thailand) Co., Ltd. which PPA has signed in Oct, 2020, and been under construction since January 2021 in Kabinburi Industrial Zone, in Prachinburi province. The power plant began commercial operations in April 2021.

This project has built a 999kW(DC) solat plant that will operate in Kabinburi, Thailand. Power generated by the plant will be supplied to Aisin Thai Automotive Casting Co., Ltd under Corporate PPA. Supplying clean, cost-competitive renewable energy from this rooftop solar power plant, the project will contribute to reducing the average electricity cost for Aisin Thai Automotive Casting Co., Ltd while lowering their carbon footprint.
